Research Focus:

Early in my career I focused on the development of microsurgical techniques and the anatomical description of various flaps.  The research concentrated on the definition, development, and vascular classification of musculocutaneous flaps.  My current interest is centered on safety in outpatient aesthetic plastic surgery, minimizing complications such as thromboembolism.
